Musical Instruments are fascinating objects which relate to music, art, culture, technology, and acoustics. Students will build up a detailed knowledge of the basic acoustics and operating principles of one type of instrument that will be presented in this course. The types of instruments to be discussed will be (typically) string, wind (woodwind, brass, and the organ), percussion, and electronic instruments.
